This is a program where children ages 7 to 12 years old are trained to become guides to visitors who come and visit the museum. To date, the Museo Sang Bata Sa Negros has trained more than 300 children, with the majority coming from the coastal community. Because they are children of the fisher folks, they also become good stewards of the marine environment. They not only help the visitors in the museum as guides, they are excellent messengers of good and desirable fishing practices to their families. As a result , the museum has become an agent of positive change towards the care of the marine environment in the community.
Part of their training includes values education, basic hygiene, art and culture appreciation and the habit of reading . They are also trained to sing and dance some native songs and dances and those that talk about the love for the environment.
