Coastal Clean-Up
Coastal clean-up activities are held regularly by the Museo Sang Bata Sa Negros.
Whether it is to celebrate the province environmental month in June or the in celebration of Earth Day in April, Museo Sang Bata always makes it a regular monthly activity. Schools and the community participate in these activities.
Mangrove Planting Activities
Mangrove identification and planting activities are always part of all marine education programs, whether it is for teachers, children or the community.
In many areas where the typhoon has hit land, it has been recorded that houses and even lives were saved because of the presence of mangrove forests growing along the shorelines. One of Museo Sang Bata Sa Negros’ advocacy is raising awareness and appreciation of mangrove trees.
