Revival of Intangible Cultural Heritage Program

This program aims to revive disappearing songs, games , dances, crafts and other traditional practices. Under this program we have the Music Workshop, Dance Workshop, and the “Adlaw sang Kabataan “ or Children’s day.

“Adlaw sang Kabataan “ or Children’s day

This Children’s Day is held every year during the month of March. During the children’s day celebration, The Museo holds a tournament or competition of different Filipino traditional games, like “sungka”,” kadang” race, “trumpo” competition or top-spinning competition, sack race, “piko” to name a few. There is also a competition for weaving of the coconut leaves, as well as native dances contest.
