Teens Health Program
November 24, 2014

This is a program for teens ages 13 to 17 years old. The Museo formed a Health Club to address the different issues and challenges that kids face while growing up . No longer children but not old enough to be an adult and with all the physical changes as well as emotional changes taking place all at the same time, teens sometimes get confused and don’t know who to talk to for help.

Here in the club, there are adults who are trained to talk to teenagers without them feeling lectured or reprimanded. They are encouraged to share their thoughts and just by listening to others, problems get clarified and solutions are discussed. Most of the members of the health club are former museum junior guides. Topics of interest to teenagers are also presented like : fashion, make-up, music, dance, boy-girl relationships, etc.
