And so it is, with these warm generous hearts of Marilou Aragon, Christine Abaquin, Marie Ledesma, Mel Onate, Anna Salvador and Lynn Weber, who shared their time and talent through story telling to about 120 children living along the shoreline of Old Sagay. Each of them had groups of 20 kids to share a story and talk about values and joys of reading. What is most admirable about these women is that they are busy women in their different professions and they didn’t necessarily have the time to go all the way to Sagay, but they volunteered and had the heart to share themselves to these children who were excited and eager to hear them read a story.
To these generous volunteers, we say thank you!
